LESSON 1 :

Survival Swimming Skills ( Students need to bring their Pyjamas & T-Shirt ).

Swim 100 meters with Attire ( Less than 3 mins ).

LESSON 2 :

Learn to undress their pyjamas & T-Shirt in deep water and make a float from attire.

Demonstrate ability to “Drown-proofing” for 1 min.

LESSON 3 :

Compact Jump.

Tuck Jump.

Straddle Jump.

LESSON 4 :

Learn to Swim double hand back stroke.

Building-up endurance for Survival Swimming Test.

LESSON 5 :

Learn to Swim side stroke.

Building-up endurance for Survival Swimming Test.

LESSON 6 :

Demonstrate ability to “Drown-proofing” for 1 min.

Treading Water with 1 arm waving only for 1 min. ( Cannot change more than 5 times )

Treading Water with both arms for 5 min.

Undress in Deep Water and demonstrate ability to make float from attire and use it to swim 25 meters using legs only.

Deflate float in water and inflate again before swimming another 25m with float using legs only.

Building-up endurance for Survival Swimming Test.

LESSON 7 :

Swim 300 meters using double hands back-stroke.

Stroke Correction and building-up endurance.

LESSON 8 :

Swim 300 meters using sidestroke.

Stroke Correction and building-up endurance.

LESSON 9 :

Learn surface dive.

Perform surface dive with Legs first.

Perform surface dive with Head first.

Swim underwater for 5 meters.

LESSON 10 :

Straddle or Tuck Jump entry from the side of the pool.

Swim 100 meters with Attire ( Less than 3 mins ).

Demonstrate ability to “Drown-proofing” for 1 min.

Treading Water for 1 min using 1 arm waving only.

Treading Water for 5 mins.

Undress in water and demonstrate ability to make float from attire.

Swim 400 meters using Breastroke / Swim 300 meters using Back-Stroke / Swim 300 meters using Side-Stroke within 45 mins.

Perform 2 Leg first - Surface Dive ( Swim submerged for 5 meters ).

Perform 2 Head first - Surface Dive ( Swim submerged for 5 meters ).

Climb out from the deep end of the pool without the use of steps or assistance.

LESSON 11 :

A Trial Test for NASSA (GOLD).

LESSON 12 :

NATIONAL SURVIVAL SWIMMING AWARD TEST.

Test Fee : S$15.00 ( Including SSC Certificates ).
